CPS has a long tradition of excellence in publishing the work of poets from Connecticut and around the nation as well as supporting poets as they hone their craft. We publish the Connecticut River Review, an international journal of poetry, with contributors from all over the world. CPS also offers five major contests each year, judged by award-winning poets, including the Nutmeg Poetry Award, the Connecticut Poetry Award, the Vivian Shipley Poetry Award, the Experimental Poetry Contest, and the DeCaro Poetry Competition for high school student poets.
